Data News elects for the 9th time the ICT Woman and Young ICT Lady of the Year 2017. As always we provide a beautiful networking event with and for inspiring ICT women.

Who takes over the torch from Annemie Depuydt, Director ICTS KU Leuven, 'ICT Woman of the Year 2016' and Ursula L.J. Dongmo, ITS PS SOC Supervisor/Proc Manager ING, 'Young ICT Lady of the Year 2016'?

NOMINEES - APPLY

ICT WOMAN OF THE YEAR 2017

The Data News editorial team will elect 5 leading ICT Women, based on the following criteria:

  • She has to work in a Belgian-based or international ICT company or IT department (including public sector).
  • She must have an impressive career or track record in IT related projects or companies and have an extensive experience.
  • She has to show leadership and be responsible for a company and/or a business unit, a project and/or a team.
  • She has to be a C level executive or be a direct report.
  • She has to be passionate about ICT and technology.
  • She can be a role model for other (future) ICT women and young ladies.

If you would like to recommend a possible candidate for ICT Woman of The Year 2017, please contact Kristof Van der Stadt.

Starting from January 23rd 2017, you can vote for the ICT woman of your choice.


YOUNG ICT LADY OF THE YEAR 2017

You can apply for Young ICT Lady of the Year or you can recommend someone for this title. Applications will close on the 6th of January 2017 - 23h59.

Admission decisions are based on the following criteria:

  • She has to work in a ICT company or IT department (including public sector) or studied ICT related projects.
  • She has to be passionate about ICT and technology.
  • She must have an impressive track record in IT already despite her young age.
  • She has to be younger than 35 years (born in 1982 or later).
  • She must show a clear ambition and vision on where she wants to go in the upcoming years and/or have an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • She wants to be an advocate on gender diversity, share her experiences with a broader audience and maybe act as a role model.

January 23rd > February 12th 23:59

 

The top 10 nominees, selected by the jury, will be announced on this website with subsequent voting by the readers of Data News.

Second half of february

 

The top 5 for 'Young ICT Lady' will have the chance to present themselves to the jury.

March
9th

 

The 'Young ICT Lady of the Year' and the 'ICT Woman of the Year' will be announced during the award ceremony.

JURY

All applications submitted will be examined by a jury composed of professionals. All members of the jury have distinguished careers in ICT over many years. Jury decisions are final and not subject to legal appeal.
